About the role...
Airbus Defence & Space are seeking and RF Microwave design Engineer to join Communication Products team, focusing on the management of design and manufacturing of RF equipment such as SSPAs, LNAs, Frequency Converters, Receivers and Beacon equipment for satellite communication payloads from UHF through to Ka band and higher.
This role will support some of Airbus Defence & Space's biggest Space & Satellite manufacturing projects, notably OneSat, Skynet & ESA's Galileo.
How will you contribute to the team
You'll offer design and manufacturing support for a wide range of equipment; including new Power Amplifier and frequency converter products covering electrical RF / DC performance analysis, assessment of mechanical realisation and oversight of production test
You will co-ordinate the design activity, whilst managing BoM and product documentation.
You will generate equipment analyses and present at internal and external Design reviews.
Perform development testing and product verification
Support product production including results reviews and problem solving from sub-circuit through to equipment level.
About you...
Experience in RF-Microwave circuit design and development of sub-system architectures for high frequency analogue equipment
Recent experience with Keysight ADS or other RF or Microwave design CAD tools
Substantial analytical and technical problem-solving skills particularly within a manufacturing environment, with the ability to liaise with internal projects and component suppliers.
