Job Summary : The Human Resources Generalist will perform tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s HR Department.

The HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day on-site HR tasks. Note : The training for this position will take place in our Headquarters in Weston, FL.

Candidates must be willing to travel to FL for the duration of the training (4-6 weeks). The company will cover the following expenses : airfare, hotel, car rental, meals, per our business travel policy.

Duties / Responsibilities : Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management. Responsible for accurately updating the HRIS system.

Assist the local Site Manager with HR related questions, and able to run reports for the location. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.

Maintain knowledge of the local laws and regulations. Advise the HR Manager and Director of changes on the specific state laws, and state mandated law or compliance.

Work closely with other HR Generalists in other locations, assist when necessary with recruitment efforts and other HR related tasks.

Responsible for new hire orientation, conducting new hire training sessions, and coordinate local events. Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.

Respond to human resources-related inquiries. Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes and benefits.

Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation. Monitor employee morale and company culture. Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies.

Process complaints and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions. Maintain employee personnel records.

Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary. Other duties as assigned from time to time Required Skills / Abilities : Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy Has knowledge of the local HR laws Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work closely with a team of HR generalists and HR Manager Excellent written, verbal, and communication abilities Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree is required, in Business or HR is preferred.

Or 3-5 years equivalent experience.
