Overview
We are looking for a Research Assistant to join our team that is working to identify novel strategies to delay onset and / or slow the progression of Huntington's disease.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Preparation of human brain samples for next generation sequencing
- RNA extraction, cDNA preparation, PCR, gel electrophoresis and library preparation
- Performing ATAC-seq, bisulfite-Seq and Ox-bisulfite-Seq assays
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must have some familiarity with a laboratory setting.
- Educational emphasis in neuroscience or biology preferred
- Previous experience with RNA isolation and familiarity with next generation sequencing is a plus

The hiring range provided represents The Rockefeller University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
