L ocation : Irving, TX (75063)
Pay : $18.50 / hr
Schedule : Monday - Friday 9am 6pm ( must be okay working extended hours during peak season)
Job Description :
Provide phone support to assist patients and healthcare providers with prescription inquiries and clarifications
Verify patient information, physician authorization, and insurance approval for prescription orders
Accurately enter and process new prescriptions and refills into the pharmacy computer system
Review orders for completeness of information and ensure timely processing
Assist with third-party claims adjudication and resolving any prescription-related issues
Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA compliance
Must be able to support the team in Phone Call answering and management
Job Requirements / Previous Experience :
High school Diploma or GED
Healthcare and / or Pharmacy customer service experience (prefer call center)
Type 35+ words per minute (typing test required)
1+ years of experience in a Data Intake role
Able to lift 40 pounds when support is needed in fulfillment
Exhibit sense of urgency and superb multi-tasking skills
