Job Description
A client of Insight of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Configuration Manager for an air force program in St. Louis, Missouri to lead configuration planning, identification, change control, tracking, and verification, and facilitate program baseline management.
Position Responsibilities :
- Assess and collaborate in the development of prime contract and supplier contract configuration management requirements.
- Writes configuration management plans. Define corresponding baseline management practices and business processes.
- Establish and apply methodology for product and document identification.
- Prepare change control documents such as Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Requests for Variance (RFV), Change Documents / Change Requests (CD / CRs), Conduct program Change Control Boards (CCB), perform configuration audits, coordinate product configuration definition documentation, and others.
- Leads fellow configuration management engineers in understanding and execution of configuration management principles and job practices, and support of industry quality audits for Configuration Management.
Provide configuration management guidance and oversight to program team members.
- Access product definition data and lead the generation of corresponding deliverables.
- Collaborate with customers.
Compensation :
$115,000 to $170,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
