JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description
Onin Staffing has an opportunity for you! If you're someone who likes working on cars, doing mechanic work, we're looking for a candidate to take apart and reassemble trailers for compressed air tanks for a client in Creedmoor that refurbishes compressed air tanks.
Monday-Thursday 6am-4 : 30pm
$19-$22 / hour based on experience
Opportunity for hands-on experience in trailer repair
Training provided for welding and fabrication skills

What you'll do as : Trailer Mechanic / Welder
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting trailer issues
- Following general direction from work order, inspect trailers and related equipment and determine the extent of required repair.
- Perform general repair work on trailers : Pull wheels, inspect wheel ends and parts, Perform brake jobs
- Repair pneumatic, electrical and structural trailer systems such as : Service and spring brakes, Brake hoses and valves, Diagnose, repair and / or install ABS systems, Repair / replace light system
- Fabricate and weld to repair equipment as necessary
- Fabricate sheet metal parts such as fenders and trailer cabinets
Work Experience
The preferred candidate might :
- Experience in trailer repair and maintenance
- General welding knowledge
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of trailers
- Ability to use various hand and power driven shop tools
- Clear communication skills
