The Aqua Tots Swim Schools curriculum is tried, true and trusted across the globe to teach children 4 months to 12 years old how to swim.
Since 1991 we have led the swim instruction industry with proven methods that progress children through the eight levels of the Aqua-Tots swim program.
At the end of the day, we train children to swim beyond the pool’s edge, safely into adulthood.
We create safe and confident swimmers for life while building relationships in the communities we serve.
Team Members are dual-trained to be Family Experience Associates and Water Safety Instructors. No previous swim experience?
No previous teaching experience? NO WORRIES! We will teach you!
Job Skills and Qualifications :
- Must love working people and children and support our company mission of drowning prevention in the community.
- Minimum of 16 years of age with at least a high school education.
- Must be able to consistently work at least two (3) shifts per week (4 hours minimum per shift).
- Must have a strong work ethic and high energy!
- Must have a willingness to learn new skills and continuously grow and improve!
- Must have CPR certification by completion of training.

Family Experience Associate Responsibilities :
- Uphold excellent customer service by communicating effectively with potential and existing customers while building relationships with the families.
- Provide detailed information about our facility, swim program, mission, and core values to all potential and existing customers.
- Sell the Aqua-Tots experience.
- Promote the most effective plan for students’ progress.
- Become comfortable navigating our Point-of-Sale and Customer Relationship Management platforms.
- Ensure facility safety and cleanliness.
- Handle customer concerns gracefully, by using customer-focused principles in every customer interaction.
- Attend monthly in-service training.
Water Safety Instructor Responsibilities :
- Make safety the #1 priority when teaching or water watching.
- Learn and maintain Aqua-Tots curriculum standards and lesson quality.
- Effectively communicate with parents about student progression.
- Check pool chemicals and ensure safe water quality.
- Appropriately receive and apply regular feedback through assessments.
- Attend monthly in-service training.
