Job Description

Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by department need. This position may close early if the hiring need is filled or do to volume of applications received.

Core Responsibilities :

Teach transferable, entry-level Anatomy & Physiology lectures and / or laboratories

Develop syllabi and course materials as directed by the Lead Faculty Member and / or Lab Coordinator

Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes

Required Qualifications for teaching Lectures

Masters degree in Biological Sciences or a closely related field from an accredited College or University

Experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology Lectures

Ability to use educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems and PowerPoint

Ability and willingness to use email for official communications

Required Qualifications for teaching Labs

Bachelors degree in Biology or a closely related field from an accredited College or University

Experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology labs or experience in a laboratory situation

Ability to use educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems and PowerPoint

Ability and willingness to use email for official communications

Starting Salary

This position will be paid $46.25 / hour for Lab Classes, $925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
