Job Title : Production Supervisor (nights)
Location : Barrington, IL
Overview : We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and operational procedures.
- Train and develop production staff, providing guidance and support to promote skill development and job proficiency.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Generate production reports and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control principles and practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software tools.
