Primary Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
- Assist with the development of site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and / or Microstation.
- Develop pipe networks and pressure pipe networks using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Collaborate with team members to produce site plans, detailed engineering drawings, profiles, construction drawings, and details.
- Convert field survey data into topographic survey drawings and surfaces suitable for producing site plans and construction drawings.
- Apply intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and corporate policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with industry knowledge and technology trends.
- Ensure work product complies with the company quality program.
- Interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.
- Understand basic construction and constructability practices and principles.
- Intermediate knowledge of basic engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to the assigned engineering discipline.
Qualifications :
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- Bentley MicroStation (2D / 3D)
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Bluebeam
- Knowledge of Civil design / site layout using Civil 3D and / or MicroStation.
- Diploma or Certificate preferred; Associate degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
- Typically, 2+ years of related work experience.
