JOB TITLE : Chief Compliance Officer, KBNA Swap Dealer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Swap Dealer Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) is a senior compliance risk position responsible for leading a compliance program that ensures KeyBank NA (KBNA) Swap Dealer employees understand and comply with all required rules and regulations.

The position is part of a second line of defense compliance program tasked with developing business plans, policies and procedures and as needed, providing support various projects to improve program efficiencies.

The Swap Dealer CCO oversees a team of compliance professionals responsible for maintaining core compliance programs in support of Swap Dealer lines of business, as well as the KeyCorp risk management infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Designated CCO for KeyBank NA's registered Swap Dealer, which provides in Interest Rate swaps, Commodity hedging and Foreign Exchange transactions for clients across the Key enterprise
  • Leads team of 4 compliance professionals responsible for all aspects of Swap Dealer compliance, including Swap Data Repository (SDR) reporting, trade surveillance and trade reconstruction
  • Senior position in Key's Risk Management infrastructure reporting to CCO of Institutional Bank and Swap Dealer Management
  • Will oversee conversion of Swap Dealer core systems, including back office consolidation for derivatives, FX and collateral, as well as implementation of new swap transaction surveillance platform

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of Interest Rate swaps, Commodity hedging and Foreign Exchange transactions
  • Significant experience with CFTC / NFA swap dealer regulations, including SDR reporting and trade execution
  • Thorough understanding of industry trends and strong connection to resources for timely regulatory intelligence
  • Ability to analyze evolving regulatory guidance, effectively communicate to senior management, and implement change proactively
  • Familiarity with back office and transactional systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior regulatory experience or financial industry license(s) a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $200,000 to $235,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.

Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
