About the opportunity :

• One of the agencies of the largest secretariat in the commonwealth of Massachusetts located in Worcester, MA is currently looking for a Direct Care Worker
• They offer services and supports individuals with intellectual disabilitiesand children with developmental disabilities
• You will provide direct care services and assist them with the activities of daily living

Direct Care Worker Responsibilities :

• Provides support, encouragement, and companionship by engaging clients in activities
• Arranges or provides transportation to appointments, supermarket, etc
• Helps client with self-care, such as toileting, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth
• Assists clients with ambulation and mobility as needed

Direct Care Worker Qualifications :

• Must have a valid, current driver's license
• CPR and First Aid certification is required
• Must pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification
• Dependable, reliable, and caring
