Senior Strategic Sourcing Consultant Technology
As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Consultant, you will lead complex, high value sourcing projects, contract negotiations, and vendor management for IT products and professional services.
Responsible for establishing strong relationships with internal Executives, Senior Managers, and key stakeholders within IT to source and implement strategic solutions.
Areas of focus include software, hardware, telecommunications / networking and professional services categories.
What you’ll do for us :
As part of the Procurement team, you will act as the key point of contact for the IT team regarding the sourcing of complex, mission critical IT systems, products and services.
Lead and execute complex RFX’s (RFI, RFQ, RFP) including needs assessment, information gathering, technical stakeholder discussions, drafting of RFX’s, vendor research, vendor negotiations, analysis and presentation of results.
Develop innovative approaches to apply data and robust analytics to model various business scenarios and analyze costs, risks, impact, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions.
Work hand in hand with IT stakeholders, vendors and legal counsel to draft, negotiate and manage contracts (master agreements, license agreements, SOW’s etc.
for complex related products and services.
Build robust working relationships with IT business partners in order to create alignment concerning sourcing strategies and procurement process for products & services.
Manage key vendor relationships to ensure business needs are being met and ensuring competitive, sustainable solutions to the business.
7 10+ years of relevant experience in IT Strategic Sourcing and contract negotiation.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong oral and written communication skills including report / proposal preparation, presentations to Executives and all levels of Management.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Experience working in a complex IT environment working with hardware / software manufacturers, resellers and professional services organizations required.

The starting pay range for this position is :
$104,400.00 - $139,200.00
