Job Details
The inpatient Physical Therapy Aide works under the direct supervision of physical and occupational therapists and physical therapist assistants to assist with patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Assist staff with patient care under therapist supervision
- Set up of patient room prior to therapy session
- Follow IC protocols to maintain therapy equipment
- Maintain pars of therapy equipment on patient care units
- Patient population includes cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patient.
- Work with interdisciplinary therapy team
- Assist with routine operations of the department
Requirements :
- HS Diploma / GED required
- Experience in the health field preferred but not required
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to comply with all regulatory standards
Salary Range
USD - USD / Hr.
