About you

You have experience creating concepts and content for website UI. You understand messaging, A / B tests, landing pages, and more.

While solving customer problems you also drive revenue and conversion for the business. You design the best copy for every execution.

You apply the right tone, style, structure, and voice. You consider usage, space, strategy, media, and brand.

You want to collaborate with our creative team. You like a high-intensity, productive, deadline-driven environment. You’re not fazed by millions of customers interacting with your work.

You want to know what’s working and what’s not so you can iterate for better results.

You can take a corporate job description from grade 10 readability to grade 6. Then do the same for taxes or personal finances.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear, engaging, actionable copy for A / B web page tests and other website updates.
• Work collaboratively to develop creative testing concepts and execute solutions.
• Work with internal and external resources to ensure copy and design work in concert to deliver against the business requirements (and create the best user experience).
• Research, conceptualize, write, proofread, and edit copy.
• Understand sitemaps, wireframes, and other similar documents and write to their needs.
• Understand web and app production and process.
• Ensure copy is compliant with published style and legal guidelines.
• Deliver on deadline in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with web writing for e-commerce sites (Agency experience a plus).
• Basic, foundational knowledge of narrative techniques for single- and multi-page flows.
• Strong conceptual, marketing, and writing skills.
• Basic understanding of prompt writing and ability to leverage GenAI writing tools.
• Experience with A / B testing and how to use it to drive improved page performance.
• Fast learner who can be productive quickly under the guidance of more senior content designers.
• Ability to quickly familiarize with brand goals and integrate into actionable copy.
• Ability to work within tight time deadlines.
• Ability to generate and clearly communicate creative concepts and strategies to peers as well as internal constituents.
• Comfortable receiving, responding to, and incorporating feedback.
• Good understanding of SEO and how / when to apply it.
• Ability to understand and apply business data and customer research to creative output.
• Familiarity with Figma a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
• 2-3 years industry experience.
