Job Description :

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating transportation activities, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products and materials.

They will also be responsible for invoicing and shipping products and maintaining an accurate accounting of all shipping transactions.

As well as contacting and negotiating with freight companies and freight forwarders for domestic and foreign shipments of products to meet our ship date requirements.

You will maintain both internal and external communication with customers and assist with resolving transportation-related issues.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• The Shipping Administrator position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of billing and shipping products and maintaining an accurate accounting of all shipping transactions.
• Prepares all bills of lading, shippers’ letter of instructions, and all other shipping documentation as required per shipment to ensure on-time shipment.
• Negotiates with freight companies and freight forwarders for the best rates and schedules for both domestic and international shipments.
• Works directly with customers and shipping companies to resolve all shipping claims and forwards to finance all billing discrepancies.
• Supports Customer Care Department and Sales Team by calculating estimated weights, dimensions, shipping charges for part orders and transit times to international and domestic destinations.
• Maintains track of shipments to meet shipping dates according to customer orders. Ensures that the Shipping Department obtains critical shipping information as required per shipment.
• Assist with researching / clarifying any questions from customers / internal team pertaining to status of shipments.
• Monitors the life cycle of each order to ensure on-time shipment and confers with cross functional departments to determine pending shipments.
• Assumes other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to problem solve
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a cross-functional environment both internally and externally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Email, One Drive, Teams, SharePoint, Business Central and relevant software tools.
• Ability to provide administrative assistance as needed
