Discover Church is looking to hire a Campus pastor for their new Campus in Liberty, MO. Discover is a multi-site church with an average attendance of - people.
The Liberty Campus has experienced steady growth since it's launch in March of 4 and is poised for signifagant growth heading into the fall.
About the Role :
The role of the Campus Pastor is to oversee the life and direction of the Liberty Campus under the direction of the Lead Pastor.
This requires a firm grasp of the beliefs, values, and strategy of Discover Church and the ability to align staff and key leadership teams with its mission, vision, and values.
Qualifications (What should already be true about me.) :
- Clear evidence of a mature and growing walk with Christ.
- Walk in accordance with the qualifications of Overseers found in 1 Timothy 3 : 1-7.
- Minimum of 5 years of ministry experience.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
Leadership (What happens through me.) :
- The CP will offer pastoral leadership to the campus and ensure the church's systems, practices, and policies are followed responsibly.
- The CP will provide strategic leadership and will be responsible for championing Discover Church’s vision and values at the campus location.
- The CP will lead the campus in accomplishing goals and action plans established by the Lead Pastor.
- The CP will be responsible for ensuring that all worship experiences are executed with excellence.
- The CP displays excellent communication skills, the ability to make sound decisions, high-level networking, and relational strengths that enhance each worship experience.
- The CP will be the primary shepherd to ensure all people at the Liberty Campus are seen, known, loved, and disciplined.
- The CP will be assigned other "central" duties based on the candidates experience / strengths and the needs of the organization.

- Consistently model Biblical priorities and the core values of Discover Church, evidenced by a growing personal relationship with Christ, a strong relationship with his spouse (if married), and children (if applicable).
- Strive to fulfill his purpose in life and ministry while demonstrating integrity in words, relationships, and actions.
- Engage leaders and their development process through the Leadership Pipeline.
- Develop and grow a strong small group culture at the campus location.
- Foster a healthy volunteer culture at the campus location.
- Oversee the campus operations including all financial, facility, and personnel details.
- Mentoring the staff in their respective areas of ministry.
