We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bilingual Customer Service Representative (SCR) who is proficient in Spanish and English to join our established Provider Services team at TurningPoint, in support of our federal client.

The CSR provides customer service to the healthcare provider communities; research, and resolves provider inquiries

Job Responsibilities :

Respond to incoming inquiries, telephone and / or written, from providers.

o Research and resolve inquiries in a professional, timely, and accurate manner.

o Document all inquiry activities in the appropriate reporting system.

o Provide responses to inquiries in writing.

Thoroughly understand Customer regulations and expectations.

o Complete daily expectations of specified work.

o Maintain quality expectations as outlined by management.

o Monitor and report workloads on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.

o Prioritize workloads to ensure timeliness / quality standards are met.

Knowledgeable in all major NPI and TPGS operating systems.

o Identify processing deficiencies and initiate corrective actions.

o Suggest ways to improve work processes.

o Continuous learning.

Actively participate in ongoing training.

o Participate in weekly meetings.

o Be prompt, present, and actively participate in required meetings and training.

o Complete assessments in a timely manner and meet / exceed standards as outlined by management.

o Seek learning opportunities.

Contribute positively to a work environment that is flexible, adaptable, and team-based.

o Provide, receive, and seek feedback in a positive manner to encourage team building.

o Participate in the development and attainment of team and operational goals.

o Perform special projects and assignments as needed.

o Acquire, demonstrate, and apply effective leadership skills.

Required Skills :

  • Bilingual in English / Spanish.
  • Excellent communication skills : verbal and written.
  • Comprehensive reading and interpretive skills.
  • Maintain professional telephone etiquette in a variety of call situations.
  • Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.

Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum six (6) months customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • Keyboard skills (typing, 10-key, alpha / numeric).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Basic mathematical skills preferred.
