Amoura : Fresh Mediterranean is a family-owned and operated quick-serve (QSR) cafe at San Francisco International Airport.
We are looking for an independent self-motivated Quick Service (QSR) Manager with experience in the food and beverage industry to join our team.
This position is responsible for the management and direction of this location at the airport.
Responsibilities
Control all day-to-day operations : including overseeing labor & schedules
Provide guidance and leadership to hourly team while fostering our Culture of Caring
Partner with General Manager (GM) to create prep lists throughout the day; and assign production duties to staff in order to ensure that preparation quantities support forecasted business levels
Use tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to guests and employees, and respond with patience and courtesy
Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure
Monitor employee side work and ensure employees comply with all sanitation / safety guidelines and procedures
Interview, hire, onboard, train, schedule, supervise and develop hourly employees
Monitor, address and document individual employee performance through on-going feedback, positive recognition, formal performance reviews, coaching and, when necessary, disciplinary action
Work a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends) at multiple sites as needed
Maintain proficiency in job functions of all positions and provide active back-up support when business needs require
Ensure that quality food is made and presented to our highest standards
Accommodates and documents the needs of customers; communicates these needs to the staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Estimates food and beverage costs and requisitions or purchases supplies
Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
Reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations
Controls and counts all charge and cash purchases at the end of each shift.
Oversees and monitors portion control standards of food and beverages for the staff.
Other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications
3-5 years quick serve (QSR) management experience
Full proficiency in Toast POS system and Microsoft / Google Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), a plus
Culinary & kitchen management skills, a plus
Strong operational skills in a customer service environment
Knowledge of inventory management systems
Experience with vendor negotiations & purchasing
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
