Conagra Brands - Indianapolis, home of Reddi Wip and Blue Bonnet, is looking to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country.
You will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St., primarily on day shift, and report to the Production Manager.
You will lead team members through the plant's process improvement opportunities, manage production team members to attain production and quality goals.
Identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. Ensure production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available to maintain production schedules.
Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Manage several functions of the business and creating an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve our results.
You Will :
Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.
Lead team in tracking and understanding goals, Gap Analysis, and creating action plans to address performance gaps.
Provide resources and training to employees to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.
Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.
Enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.
Support plant and company safety programs, promoting a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out / tag-out, personal protective equipment and confined space entry.
You Have :
High school diploma or GED
Three (3) years supervisory experience.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work 12-hour shift, 3 days / week on rotating 3-week schedule.
