Responsibilities
Provide academic support and educational counseling to students who are advanced program participants and track their academic progress, work with relevant others in the recruitment process for these students
- Provide individual educational counseling to students addressing areas such as test-taking strategies, time-management, reading comprehension strategies, note-taking techniques, and study skills
- Provide workshops for students addressing topic areas such as test-taking strategies, time-management, reading comprehension strategies, note-taking techniques, and study skills
- Additional duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related discipline; plus, 1-3 years directly applicable or 3-5 years related experience in education, communications or counseling;
Master's Degree in Education or a related field preferred.
Required Field of Expertise : Education or related field
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
- Knowledge in learning concepts, educational theory, and psycho-educational assessments
- Strong interpersonal, administrative / organizational, and computer skills
- Aptitude for educational technology
