Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in an assigned area / service.
Qualifications
Required SkillsLicense :
- Current license as a Physician Assistant by the State of Kentucky.Certifications :
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Language Skills : Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
