As a Resident Monitor, you will be essential staff ensuring the safety of the building, enforcing resident rules, serving as a part of the emergency response team, and communicate with case managers to ensure that clients are receiving the case management services that they need.
As a Resident Monitor, you will be an integral part of the success of Community of Hope's Housing Program in the way you provide a culture of hope and transformation as we help people move into their own homes.
During this hiring Blitz we are hiring for various Resident Monitor positions ( Relief, Part-time, Full-Time Floater, regular Full-Time) all part-time shifts are Saturday and Sunday .
and other various shifts including overnights. *Salary starts at $17.00 per hour.
- Implements and operates COH's program procedures, adhering to all policies and expectations outlined in the Resident Monitor handbook.
- Maintain security of the building at all times and does not leave the post at the end of the shift without first ensuring that there are staff on duty for the next shift
- Makes hourly walks throughout the building to check for maintenance and security concerns.
- Answers telephone lines and manages front desk activities, including signing-in residents, greeting visitors and volunteers and volunteers and problem solve with shelter residents, all in a professional, friendly manner.
- Documents and communicates rule violations and concerns about residents as appropriate to the situation; by email or, when necessary, by phone to appropriate staff
- Responds to residents' requests, rendering assistance as possible; respond to resolve conflicts and crisis situations.
- Maintains standardized operating procedures, the safety of residents, program integrity, and a supportive and caring environment.
- Communicates with staff and all residents in a non-judgmental manner; work cooperatively with all agency staff
- Maintains a working relationship with landlords and other pertinent housing stakeholders.
- High school diploma or GED required
