Job Title : Financial Systems Analyst

Salary Range : $65,000 - $75,000

Location : Norwalk, CT Area (Hybrid)

We are seeking a motivated Financial Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with financial systems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support financial systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Analyze financial data and generate reports to provide insights for decision-making.
• Assist with system upgrades, implementations, and integrations to improve financial processes.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to troubleshoot system issues and recommend solutions.
• Monitor system performance and ensure proper controls are in place to safeguard financial information.
• Develop and deliver training to users on financial systems and tools.
• Work with IT and external vendors to manage system configurations, updates, and technical support.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures related to financial systems.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support business needs and financial initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial systems support or analysis.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial reporting tools).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

Desirable Skills :

• Experience with system implementations or upgrades.
• Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages.
• Understanding of internal controls and compliance standards.
