Job Purpose

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting digital marketing campaigns and strategies for Sames North America.

Under the leadership of the Sames North American Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing digital marketing campaigns, including generating leads, providing campaign analytics, conducting market research, and actively engaging with the business to optimize the performance of our digital strategies.

You will work closely with our European headquarters to ensure we are in alignment with factory goals and objectives. This position plays a vital role in the success of our organization with educating and informing others about Sames products and solutions using various digital platforms.

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports our marketing teams located in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Headquarters (France) as required.

Bringing foundational knowledge of digital paid campaigns and implementation of these campaigns is vital to the success of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy with Marketing Manager for the Americas ensuring that we are aligned with HQ goals and objectives.
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Create concepts for digital media posts and work with multimedia designers to select relevant images videos to support these posts in the Americas.
  • Manage the digital marketing calendar for the Americas.
  • Identify new opportunities to generate leads and boost conversions.
  • Maintain the online presence and reputation of the company.
  • Create and maintain social media content related to the Americas (ie : Distribution, products, educational, event focused posts, etc.).
  • Track digital marketing performance with analytical tools. Create and analyze A / B tests to improve the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Report digital KPIs (website + social networks) and analyze performance of these campaigns to make the necessary adjustments.

Work with HQ to ensure we have successful campaign tracking in place for the Americas.

  • Create and update digital marketing reports for the Americas.
  • Oversee the digital marketing budget for the Americas.
  • Implement digital communications and posts as part of new product launches with Marketing Manager for the Americas.
  • Understand the Sames customer journey. Monitor and respond to customer feedback across social media platforms.
  • Provide education and training for creating digital campaigns with marketing team at HQ and Americas.

Qualifications Required / Desired :

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or similar field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a digital marketing specialist, social media specialist, or similar role with B2B focus.

B2C knowledge is a plus.

  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Social media post creation and experience.
  • Analytics tools knowledge with Google Analytics or Matamo Analytics.
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO (conversion rate optimization) and SEO (search engine optimization).
  • Knowledge of paid campaigns for marketing channels : Google ads, LinkedIn paid ads, Instagram, & Facebook.
  • Experience with digital marketing automation software.
  • Experience with SAP CRM or equivalent CRM software program.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools and implementations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including teams from the Americas and Headquarters.
  • Strong time management and excellent multitasking skills.
  • Advanced attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English : Fluency in Spanish and French is a plus.
  • Provide portfolio samples of successful campaigns in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist (ie : Google responsive display ads, LinkedIn paid ads, etc.).

Working Conditions

The job requires 20% travel to trade show events.
