Sales Representative, Aftermarket

Location Must live / call on customers in the Concord, CA area

to ensure well-functioning doorway systems in the commercial building industry.

What you will be doing

In this role, you will be responsible for cross-brand demand generation development and capture of ASSA ABLOY brand product sales (mechanical and electro-mechanical) within the targeted Aftermarket channel community including but not limited to targeted Wholesalers, Security Professionals and Systems Integrators.

Aftermarket demand generation, project tracking, team collaboration and sales execution are critical to the success of the ASSA ABLOY ABDR.

Key areas you will contribute in the role include :

  • Communicate effectively with a variety of decision makers and influencers.
  • Implement specific aftermarket sales objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with local sales teams and develop a cohesive aftermarket attack plan customized to the specific territory.
  • Assess and report on industry trends, market conditions and competitive activities.

What we are looking for

  • You have at least 2-3 years’ experience creating and driving sales results to end users and to channel partners servicing the aftermarket channel.
  • You have the ability to read and understand specifications / facility standards and technical aptitude in building construction, electromechanical and IT networking.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about selling a full range of door opening solutions.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized and known for follow-up habits.
  • You are a strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator.
  • You can work independently but believe in teamwork.
  • Your background includes a College / University degree (preferred).
  • Ability to travel upto 25% and lift / carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or in-the-field.

Salary Range : 90k - 110k (The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to : skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
