POSITION SUMMARY :

Servtech , A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Pipe Assembler II to j oin our team in our manufacturing facilities for the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions.

This individual must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus.

This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Must be proficient in understanding isometric and plan drawings, specifications, and layouts.

• Must operate hand tools safely.
• Assist with organizing materials and equipment.
• Assist in the assembly of pre-welded piping flanged spools, valves, SS tubing, pipe stands, and threaded piping / fittings.
• Conduct activities safely and healthily and work following Servtech Safety Procedures and Policies
• Must have the ability to meet deadlines while working safely and producing a quality product
• Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment
• Other duties as assigned.

$25.50 - $28.98 per hour

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel;

reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures for short periods is possible.

All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required

• 1-2 years of pipe fitting is required
• 1 year of pipe-threading is preferred.
• Must work well with others in a team-oriented environment
