SUMMARY OF DUTIES :
Petland Inventory Control Managers are dedicated to helping ensure optimal profitability and inventory turns related to pet supplies in support of our overall mission of matching the right pet with the right customer and meeting the needs of both.
Inventory Control Managers also support efforts to enhance customer knowledge and enjoyment of the human-animal bond through their daily efforts.

- Orders supplies efficiently and accurately while utilizing Petlands Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Maintains proper inventory valuations throughout the store.
- Keeps all merchandise neat, clean, priced and fronted.
- Effectively signs and displays kits, ends caps, stack-outs, valences and specials.
- Evaluates and seeks timely vendor credits, coupons and rebates.
- Maintains accurate records for invoices, vendors and catalogs.
- Keeps stock room neat and organized.
- Implements Petland in-store marketing campaigns.
- Uses common mathematical principles during the course of daily tasks and responsibilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND / OR TRAINING :
POS experience and prior inventory experience preferred.
