We are looking for a Mainframe Developer in Raleigh, NC for a 12+ months contract position.

• DB2 (Z / OS) application programming including knowledge of DB2 SQLs
• CICS application programming
• Mainframe technologies (Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2, Zeke, X / PTR)
• Experience with structured system development methodologies, preferably waterfall method
• Experience with COBOL debugging tools like XPEDITOR / CA-Intertest
• Candidates local to the Raleigh / Triangle Area
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to translate and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-IT business users
• Ability to develop relationships / partnerships with clients
• Extensive experience conducting problem analysis and issue resolution

Desired Skills :

• Experience performing business requirements definition, reviewing functional specifications, developing test cases, and performing unit testing
• Excellent written skills including experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel)
• Experience with QMF, SPUFI and FILEAID / CA-RC-Browse
