We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development who brings a rich network of connections within the construction, real estate development, and architectural industries .
This role is at the forefront of technology and innovation in building and construction, helping to expand the reach of new technologies that are revolutionizing the construction and real estate industries, shaping the future of building, and transforming marketing approaches to developers and builders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leverage an existing network of builders, developers, construction firms, and architectural practices to drive new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, general contractors, and real estate developers , pitching innovative technologies that address industry challenges and contribute to the future of building and construction.
- Use your deep understanding of the building process to align technology with the specific needs of clients, from concept to completion.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers, positioning new technology as an integral part of property development, construction, and marketing.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to create and execute strategic plans for growth and market entry in target regions (Austin, LA, NY, SF, Miami).
What We're Looking For :
- 10+ years of business development experience in the construction, real estate development, or architectural sectors.
- Established relationships and connections with builders, developers, and architects .
- A proven track record of closing high-value, complex B2B sales in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of the construction lifecycle and how visualization tools can add value and reduce risks.
- Ability to work in a startup environment , with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
Preferred Skills :
- Strong existing relationships with architectural firms and builders .
- Experience in tech-driven solutions for the construction sector.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
