Traveling Millwright/Equipment Installer

Stellar is seeking a full-time Millwright / Equipment Installer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to supervise the installation of industrial food processing systems and equipment.
Working under the direction of the Director of Field Services, the Millwright will be focused on our Food & Beverage Processing division which includes projects nationwide.
- Work with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure assigned projects meet scope objectives, remain on schedule and within allocated budget
- Work with Stellar Building Construction Team to make sure that both scopes are aligned
- Regularly supervises work of employees and subcontractors
- Inspect and verify work in progress and ensure that all employees are working productively and safely
- Handle the day to day operations on the job site
- Handle daily communication with customer and OEMs
- Work with the customer and OEMs through I / O checkout, start up and commissioning of equipment
- Interpreting drawings accurately and ensuring that all equipment is installed properly
- Delivering quality as-built drawings when job is complete
- Coordinate work with other disciplines on the job to ensure that all work is handled as efficiently as possible
- Assist project managers as necessary and work within the budget provided and maintain daily log
- Enforce jobsite discipline
- Help train subordinates
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years applicable service experience
- 3+ years of industrial processing systems / equipment experience
- Nationwide travel required for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
