Senior Copywriter

LHH is working with their client looking to add a talented Senior Copywriter to their team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience and well versed in both long form and short form content.

Looking for a highly detailed and creative writer, editor, and proofreader. A portfolio of relevant work samples is required for consideration for this position.

This is a primarily remote role; however, the candidate MUST be North Carolina based for the occasional in person meeting or in office collaboration day in the Triad.

Responsibilities :

• Produce compelling content that adheres to the brand tone and voice across a variety of brands and type including newsletters, ad copy, product catalogs, white papers, video transcripts and more.
• Perform editor and project management functions for weekly newsletter projects including content gathering, writing and editing, overseeing revisions / translation and more.
• Work with cross functional team members and the Director of Editorial to develop content production schedules.
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.
• Conduct research on industry trends, target audience, and competitors.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or similar field.
• 5+ years of professional experience copywriting, editing etc. Portfolio of relevant samples required for consideration.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong understanding of AP Stylebook guidelines and using company specific editorial variations.
• Project management and experience with OpenAI ChatGPT strongly desired.
