Description of Duties

• Ability to problem solve exterior roofing and siding issues that present themselves while working on older homes.
• Review the scope of each project to conduct a material take off and estimate the required labor.
• Work with the Repair Supervisor in scheduling and providing estimates to customers.
• Monitor material usage, minimize waste, anticipate shortages, and coordinate return of material overages for proper credit.
• Deliver and pick up materials and other items to and from job sites.
• Submit Change Orders as needed to ensure unexpected project costs are captured and billed.
• Resolve customer complaints and disputes.
• Provide great communication with customers, suppliers, and teammates to ensure projects run efficiently and on budget, to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Skills & Requirements

• You have a solid understanding of and excellent ability to solve roofing and siding problems, including vinyl, aluminum, and fiber cement siding.
• You are safety minded and comfortable using various types of ladders and safety equipment to access first, second, and third story homes and high-pitched roofs.
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment common to the roofing and siding repair business.
• You possess the stamina to work at different heights in various weather conditions.
• You are highly organized in managing and leading repair projects.
• 5+ years of experience in exterior home repairs
• Carpentry skills.
• Experienced with the ability to complete material lists and estimate required labor for simple to moderately complex roofing and siding repairs.
• Experience in residential and / or commercial construction a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Familiar with building codes and regulations a plus
• Experience with commercial roofing repairs a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Hourly pay $24-$30 based upon experience and skill level

Location and Schedule :

This person will spend approximately 95% of their time in the field on the road and at customer sites, and approximately 5% of their time in the office / warehouse for meetings, scheduling, and picking up materials.

Scheduled Hours :

Monday Friday : 7 : 00-4 : 00

May include some occasional time on Saturday.
