Vinebrook Technology is dedicated to providing top-notch IT solutions and support to our clients. We are looking for a motivated Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT team.

Job Summary :

As a Network Administrator, you will assist in maintaining and supporting our customer's network infrastructure. You will work closely with senior network administrators to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our managed network customers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Support the implementation of network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and provide reports on network performance and security.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to resolve technical issues and provide support to end-users.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and updates to maintain an accurate knowledge base.
  • Participate in network upgrades, installations, and migrations.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance network performance and security.

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
  • Familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software (network monitoring tools).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus but not required.
