A Cost Estimator job in Auburn Hills, MI is available courtesy of Akkodis. You will be working for a leading tooling company, developing cost estimates of injection mold tooling and assess customer data for cost drivers.
Customers are automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
Pay : $ 75,000 - $100,000
Cost Estimator job responsibilities are :
- Prepare cost estimates and price quotes on new work and engineering changes
- Coordinate preparation of cost estimates on project continuations
- Estimate the bost of labor and materials from CAD data and specifications provided
- Collect information for proper quotations from external sources
- Develop internal and external RFQs and manage the RFQ process with the supply chain department
Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree OR equivalent experience will be considered
- Experience in processing new tool RFQ’s and assessing product designs for feasibility
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents
- Knowledge of injection mold build processes
- 2D / 2D design view experience
