Are you a seasoned Wetland Scientist with a passion for finance? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team.

This unique role combines the disciplines of environmental science and finance, offering the opportunity to apply your specialized knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing critical insight into wetland-related issues and their potential impact on our financial operations and decisions.

This is a full-time, permanent position, requiring at least 5 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities :

As a Wetland Scientist, your primary responsibilities will include :

1. Conducting comprehensive assessments of wetland areas, including flora, fauna, soils, and hydrology.

2. Applying your findings to inform financial decisions, particularly in relation to investments and risk management.

3. Collaborating with various teams to ensure that wetland considerations are properly integrated into our business strategies.

4. Providing expert advice on wetland regulations and their potential financial implications.

5. Developing and implementing wetland conservation strategies to enhance our corporate sustainability efforts.

6. Preparing detailed reports and presentations for various stakeholders, including senior management and clients.

7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest scientific research and financial trends related to wetlands.

8. Representing our company at relevant industry events and conferences.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications :

1. A Master's degree or higher in Wetland Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Wetland Scientist, with a strong track record of applying scientific knowledge in a business context.

3. Advanced knowledge of wetland ecology, including plant and animal species, soil types, and hydrological processes.

4. Familiarity with wetland regulations and their potential impact on business operations.

5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific data into actionable financial insights.

6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.

7. Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as GIS and statistical analysis programs.

8. Experience in the finance industry would be highly advantageous.
