Our family is looking for a Destination Sales Specialist. A Destination Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling travel packages, tours, and experiences to various destinations.
This role involves working closely with clients to understand their travel preferences, providing expert recommendations, and coordinating travel arrangements.
The Destination Sales Specialist must stay informed about popular destinations, industry trends, and travel regulations to offer exceptional service and help clients create memorable travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
- Promote and sell travel packages, tours, and experiences to various destinations.
- Provide expert recommendations on destinations, travel routes, and accommodation.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, lodging, transportation, and activities.
- Stay up to date on travel industry trends, destination knowledge, and travel regulations.
- Collaborate with travel partners and suppliers to secure the best deals and exclusive offers.
- Assist clients with travel documents, insurance, and other necessary arrangements.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred).
- Small start up fee required.
- Strong knowledge of popular travel destinations and tourism products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in using travel booking software and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
