The Engagement team will be assisting our client with a new CM implementation so they're targeting two training specialist that can assist, both our team and their teams, with this.
The chosen resources will have in-depth knowledge of Oracle CM / CC&B systems and processes so that they can create training documentation and material.
A "training developer" or sorts would be perfect if we could identify them in the CM space. If they have similar training experience in the past, it would be a homerun candidate.
Otherwise we need someone who has been the lead for implementation workshops, someone who has trained on similar opportunities and has in-depth knowledge of the CM / CC&B product, etc.
Strong communication skills are a must. Position will be % remote with occasional travel (if candidate is open to it). Team works predominately EST and CST but is open to candidates elsewhere if they'll work those hours.
Long-term position, potential start date as early as / / with year-long contracts. Can go longer for the right candidate.
Roles and Respoinsibilities :
- Consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end development of engaging and interactive course content to internal employees and partners pertaining to the implementation of Oracle CM
- Put forth an ability to create lessons and module overviews that resonate with business learners, translate technical documents and system knowledge to create procedural documents, build engaging exercises and knowledge checks, determine what application data is needed to execute learner exercises, and support the review and approval process with technical and business partners
- Work closely with all parts of key technology implementations to develop an in-depth knowledge of the platform and offerings via various training materials
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, be comfortable taking initiative and conducting their own follow up items and demonstrate strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow agreed processes are key requirements
- Comfortably present training materials to the implementation team and key stakeholders at the client site while working remotely
Requirements :
- Must have experience within the Power & Utilities industry; working directly for, or having contracted with, an electric delivery or natural gas distribution company, water supply or wastewater removal organizations, etc
- In-depth knowledge working with a utility-based Customer Information System (CIS), as well as proven proficiency in Oracle CM and / or Oracle CC&B systems and processes
- Knowledge of e-learning design tools and software including PowerPoint, and Adobe Captivate which will be used to develop the training content.
Other content authoring tools, such as Vyond, Articulate, Help & Manual, etc are also acceptable
- Ability to create Instructor Led Course(s) with topical information and learner scenarios; provide ownership of updates to training materials as a result of material reviews and feedback from other technical, functional, or overall business partners
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate technology concepts to individuals with varying degrees of technical knowledge
