PROPRIUS is working with a Pleasanton, CA area based company to add a Data Scientist to their growing team. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded global company with over 45 years experience in their niche.

The Role :

As a Data Scientist, you will assist the Data Analytics team in translating data into advanced analytics content, and creating data visualizations while keeping in mind the customer experience.

Specific responsibilities include :

• Assists with development of analytics product packages with key a focus on matching the final user experience to a business user case
• Perform research, analysis, and modeling on industry aggregate data and primary responsibility for the predictive analytics content results
• Investigate and integrate new analytics technology and new data sources
• Support the development of algorithms or models to optimize customer experience
• Assist product operations managers and staff in developing and delivering analytic availability and performance

The Candidate :

To be considered for the Data Scientist role, you ideally will possess direct experience building, deploying, and supporting large scale analytics solutions.

In addition, it’s essential that you possess the following :

• 1+ years of Applied analytics experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / statistics or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Exposure to one or more BI tools. Prefer MicroStrategy, PowerBI, or Tableau
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ultimately, you could be a great fit for this role if you can prove that you can translate large amounts of data into digestible and beautiful customer experiences and work cross functionally with other departments to deliver exactly what our customers need to make better business decisions.

The Package :

The salary for the Data Scientist is up to $85,000 per year for the perfect candidate. In addition, there is a bonus potential that paid 125% this year!
