- Schedule : Rotating, PRN POOL - Schedule will vary. Minimum of 3 days a month availability. Hours for shifts (depending on training) are IV room 6 : 30am-3pm;
7 : 30am-4 : 00pm or 3pm-11 : 30Pm. If not IV trained hours will be 7am-3 : 30pm; 9am-5 : 30pm; 1pm-9 : 30pm or 3pm-11 : 30pm.
One holiday per year is required.

Responsibilities
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.
- Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
- Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department.
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
- Repackage bulk medications.
- Receive and store incoming supplies.
- Triage incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Registration with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board required. Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registration is granted, must be maintained.
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
Education :
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
Previous hospital experience as a technician highly preferred. Previous IV training preferred.
