JOB SUMMARY :
Under general direction from the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Coordinator will maintain the cleanliness and 5S organization of the facility and its property.
This position will also be tasked with general maintenance items such as plumbing, painting and break fix repair. May also be tasked to work with maintenance department in special projects such as relocation of equipment.
Willingness to continually improve their knowledge of the facility by working with Senior Maintenance Technicians and others when possible.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Work with Facilities Manager to maintain a daily facility cleaning schedule to include restrooms, break rooms and offices.
- Daily trash removal from production areas and offices.
- Cleaning floors in two production buildings to include walkways and shop floors.
- Maintain roads and parking areas outside of buildings by picking up trash and debris. Painting striping when needed and repairing signage.
- Maintain smoking area to keep it free from butts and debris.
- Support Maintenance team and plant facilities activities with machine repair, relocation and rearrangement of equipment, racks and machines.
- Perform general maintenance as needed such as painting, plumbing, electrical, welding, and assembly.
- Interact Daily with operators and staff to ensure areas are clean and ready for production and use.
- Maintain 5S stations in production areas or install as requested by Facility Manager.
- Report and / or correct safety concerns with Facilities Manager and staff.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory levels of cleaning and break room supplies. Notify purchasing in a timely manner, to maintain appropriate levels and never run out.
- All other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum of 2- 5 years of experience as a Maintenance or Facilities Coordinator, preferably in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with general safety procedures such as LOTOV, confined space and Haz Material storage.
- Has demonstrated experience with hand tools, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance, light welding experience a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools and their uses.
- Has demonstrated capability for troubleshooting and fixing machines, and facility infrastructure.

- Flexibility to work weekends as necessary to complete break fix or facilities projects.
- Must be an organized individual that can execute daily and weekly plans.
- Can adapt quickly to changing priorities.

- Must be able to work individually and as a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Comfortable maneuvering in tight, not easily accessed areas of industrial equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to continuously stand, walk or sit.
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift repetitively.
- Must be able to wear a respirator.
