Position Title : Maintenance Tech

Type : Permanent Full Time

Pay : $22.00 per hour

Schedule :  7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday; OT as needed

Benefits : Full benefits package after 60 Days

Location : Stow, OH

Basic Function : Responsible for providing maintenance facility support at the Client Valley View site. This support includes but is not limited to facility services and maintenance including the building and grounds and assisting with manufacturing equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities : include the following (other duties may be assigned).

• Facility maintenance including but not limited to plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, electrical and lighting, roof maintenance, painting, office furniture assembly, and other building maintenance tasks.
• Assist the Client maintenance team with preventative maintenance and repairs of manufacturing machinery such as machine tools, hydraulic molding presses, process ovens, CNC machines, and other general manufacturing machinery.
• Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Operate a forklift.
• Operate an aerial lift.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and other technical literature.
• Follow oral and / or written instructions.
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Maintain work logs.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments.
• Perform general computer work such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Actively Participate in safety meetings, safety teams, and perform safety audits.
• Follow safety procedures and rules, effectively complete Job Safety Analysis’s and follow the Safe Work Permit Process.

Requirements : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

Organization Relationships : Works regularly with shift production employees as well as Leadership throughout the Client and Contract Groups.

Physical Requirements : The employee must be able to work at elevated heights such as on a ladder or scissors lift. The employee must have a valid driver’s license. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 55 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, and sit. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
