ASSEMBLY TECHNICIANS - DIRECT HIRE

A global manufacturer servicing the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries is seeking Direct Hire Assembly Technicians to join their team in Kent, Ohio.

$24 - $27 Per Hour + $2 shift differential for Weekend Shift

1st Shift Monday Friday 7 : 00 am 3 : 00 pm

Weekend Shift Friday Sunday 6 : 00 am 6 : 00 pm (Work 38 hours and get paid for 40)

Key Responsibilities :

• Interprets assembly drawings, blueprints, and electrical prints
• Has general knowledge and understanding of pneumatic circuits, cylinders, valves, regulators and controls
• Possesses knowledge of threaded and welded pipe, valves and fittings, and related hardware for installation.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by lifting, bending, and kneeling multiple times per day, working overhead from a kneeling or laying position and will require the physical ability to lift up to 50 at times.
• Runs conduit, mounts junction boxes and pulls wire to various electrical devices and motors. Terminates wires as required per electrical drawing.
• Knowledge operating and lifting objects with forklift, overhead cranes utilizing slings, straps or other devices.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
