The Lead Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for allocating manpower and equipment, to ensure completion of each project within the defined scope and in the time parameters allowed, without compromising the Safety of our Team Members or the Quality of the Work provided.
The following is a list of job duties for a Lead Industrial Mechanic. These responsibilities and physical requirements include, but are not limited to, the following :
Responsibilities :
- Will report to Project Manager for Job assignments.
- Will complete all Pre and Post Job Paperwork.
- Will communicate with Project Manager, Sales Team, and Customer.
- Will communicate effectively In Person, by Telephone or by Computer.
- Will be responsible for Workplace Safety, Safety Training, and Implementation.
- Will be able to read Blueprints.
- Will be required to Travel.
Core Requirements :
- Industrial Mechanic, Welder Fabricator with 5 years of experience in Industrial setting
- Proficient with all types of Hand Tools, Power Tools, Measuring Tools used in Industrial Maintenance, Building Erection and Equipment Installation.
- Proficient at Welding and Metal Fabrication in Industrial Setting. (Certifications a plus)
- Able to adapt quickly, allocate manpower and resources on jobsite to complete project in safe and timely manner.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
- Employee must be able to lift products to 70lbs daily.
- Must have Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to pass Drug test.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Legally Authorized to work in the US.
