Position Description : The Developer / Analyst is a key role for a BioPharma client building a data warehouse with a focus on commercial data.

This role requires strong expertise in pharmaceutical commercial operations and utilizes Tableau software tools (and related technologies) to deliver data insights for RCM's Life Sciences (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Healthcare Medical Device) clients.

We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of success in the following areas :

• Deep understanding of Pharmaceutical Commercial Operations : This includes experience with Field and MSL Reporting for Sales, Calls, Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), as well as Market Access data (plans, remittances).
• Claims Data Expertise : Experience with claims data analysis using tools like Symphony (preferred). Experience with Komodo, Compile, or other claims data platforms will be considered.
• Strong Tableau Skills : Proven ability to build complex dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau.
• SQL Proficiency : Experience writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills : The ability to effectively solicit requirements through user interviews, prototyping reports and dashboards, and clearly present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.

Experience working directly with end users is a must.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Partner with client commercial teams (including Field, MSL, and Market Access) to define and document data and reporting requirements for the commercial data warehouse.
• Utilize prototyping techniques to create report wireframes and mockups, ensuring alignment with user needs.
• Develop and maintain the Tableau metadata model, dashboards, and reports for the commercial data warehouse.
• Collaborate with the project manager to prioritize data warehouse requests and manage project timelines.
• Provide ongoing updates and status reports on progress, including any potential issues or roadblocks.
• Offer expert advice and guidance on Tableau functionality and implementation strategies.

Qualifications :

• Hands-on experience working with commercial teams to extract data insights on HCPs, patient claims, sales data (field force performance, incentive compensation), and market access.
• Strong understanding of commercial data analytics and reporting specific to the BioPharma industry.
• Minimum of years of experience in a related role (, Tableau Developer, Business Intelligence Analyst) with a focus on pharmaceutical commercial data.

Additional Skills (Plus Factors) :

• Experience with Oracle Essbase
• Experience with data warehousing concepts
