Job Description Summary :

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to support our growing Power Delivery Segment. The Project Scheduler will be responsible to set up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project contract requirements as scheduled.

Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend workarounds. Suggest management of risks affecting project profit, costs, schedules, and client relations.

Utilizing Primavera (P6) and Tilos software the Planner / Scheduler will also be responsible for communicating and advising the project team on corrective actions when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Generate a resource loaded baseline schedule.
• Update the project schedules weekly in P6 and Tilos
• Interact with customers, managers, operation leaders, financial controller and EVM analyst.
• Update commodity curves weekly.
• Perform CPI / SPI calculations using earned value principles.
• Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.

Qualifications

Skills & Abilities :

• Must be proficiency in Primavera, P6 and Tilos (linear scheduling projects). Experience in MS Project is a plus.
• Familiarity with the use of Power BI.
• Proven ability with creating reports by relating and extracting data from a variety of software platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members and clients varying position levels.
• Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Problem solving, time management and organizational skills required.
• Must be a . Citizen. We do not sponsor work visas at this time.

Education and / or Work Experience :

• 8-10 years’ experience in scheduling construction projects
• BS degree with an emphasis in Engineering or Construction Management -or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience working on large overhead transmission line and substation projects is a preference. At least, experience in other Mega linear construction at a minimum.
• Extensive engineering and construction experience, preferably with respect to substation and transmission construction (A preference, but not required)
• Pay Range : $85,000 to $100,000
