Senior UPS OEM Engineer About The Job We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior UPS OEM Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and implementation of advanced Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems for our OEM clients.

This role requires a deep understanding of power electronics, electrical engineering principles, and a proven track record in the UPS industry.

Key Responsibilities : Design and Development :

• Lead the architectural design and development of UPS systems, including both hardware and firmware components.
• Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts for power electronic circuits using CAD software such as Altium Designer or OrCAD.
• Develop and optimize firmware for microcontrollers and DSPs used in UPS systems

System Integration :

• Integrate UPS systems with various power distribution and management systems.
• Ensure compatibility and seamless operation with other electrical and electronic systems used by OEM clients.

Testing and Validation :

• Develop comprehensive test plans and protocols to validate the performance and reliability of UPS systems.
• Conduct EMI / EMC testing and ensure compliance with relevant standards such as IEC 62040 and UL 1778.
• Utilize simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB / Simulink, PSpice) to model and analyze electrical behavior under different scenarios.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting :

• Provide high-level technical support to OEM clients for the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of UPS systems.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for field issues and product returns.

Project Management :

• Manage multiple projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain management.

Customer Interaction :

• Work closely with OEM clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored UPS solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations and training sessions to clients on UPS system operation and maintenance.

Compliance and Standards :

• Ensure all UPS systems meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Keep abreast of advancements in UPS technology and incorporate new developments into future product designs.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the design and development of UPS systems.
• Demonstrated experience with OEM client projects and customized solutions.
• Proficient in power electronic circuit design, including rectifiers, inverters, and DC-DC converters.
• Strong understanding of battery management systems (BMS) and energy storage technologies.
• Skilled in the use of electrical simulation and design tools (e.g., MATLAB / Simulink, PSpice, Altium Designer).
• Experience with firmware development for embedded systems, including programming in C / C++.
