Atlas Staffing is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join a steel fabrication company in Spokane. If you have prior experience and are someone who consistently sets high standards for your work, we encourage you to apply today!
This position is responsible for all aspects of observation for material receipt, preparation, fabrication compliance and visual weld / bolting and final inspection and shall report to the QC Supervisor.
You will work in cooperation with shop supervision and production personnel to ensure beneficial inspection.
QA Inspector Required Experience :
Perform visual and dimensional inspection of fabricated metals.
Verify the use of proper weld procedures and qualifications. Inspect and verify bolted connections comply with specifications.
Validate the use of correct materials.
Maintain records of inspections and present inspection reports to lead inspector.
QA Inspector Preferred Experience :
Minimum of 1 year experience with structural steel.
Must be able to read and interpret structural detail drawings.
Have examined through company training for bolt, weld, and fabrication standards.
Have or work toward formal training as ASNT Level II in all non-destructive testing processes routinely used in the facility.
Will train to become an AWS Certified Welding Inspector.
Pay : $20.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE
Shift : Monday to Thursday, 3 : 30pm 2 : 00am
