The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Event Videography Assistant for The Center for the Arts organization in New London, NH.
The CFA is at a critical juncture and needs support in sharing back what they are doing and have been doing all year. It is great experience for someone interested in videography, filmmaking, or storytelling.
Job Responsibilities :
Great experience for a videographer. The Center for the Arts is looking for an individual to take b-roll or video of events during the very busy summer season in this sought-after vacation region.
Events take place primarily from June-August. As an arts organization, expect to video a lot of events, possibly do some interviews and edit as needed / required by the project or assignment.
This is a great opportunity to use your skills and build your portfolio.

- Open Studios
- HuManities Programs
- First Friday Programs
- Family Programs
- Other as Needed
The right individual would attend events, take video and / or B-roll, edit and provide completed project to the organizations marketing team.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
- Work study part of financial aid package
- Students with work study may be prioritized
- Reliable transportation
- Experience using a video camera in public settings a plus
- Some experience with editing software is a plus
- Reliable
- Able to work with deadlines and manage changing priorities
- Must have a valid drivers license and access to a car
- Must have a video camera as one will not be provided

Work Schedule : 10 hrs weekly

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
