We invite applications for our unique opportunity, Regional Director of Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation, based within our Northern Virginia service area .

This is a full-time shareholder-track position.

What You Can Expect :

  • Overseeing & supporting all 3 of our service area heart failure teams
  • Supportive environment as the program grows and evolves
  • Tyson’s Corner Medical Center is the primary base for our Heart Failure Clinic
  • Light call shared between the group
  • Unique and exciting opportunity to build a comprehensive program for congestive heart failure across the spectrum of care, integrating innovation solutions for chronic disease management and care of critically ill patients across the Mid-Atlantic
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology
  • Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship
  • Expertise in advanced therapies in Heart Failure
  • Clinical experience in managing patients with advanced heart failure, including the management of inotropes, temporary and durable Mechanical Cardiac Support, and pre- and post- heart transplantation management
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
  • Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care
  • Communicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate)
  • Lead with integrity
